One Thousand And One SALAM

A conceptual Art Project based in Istanbul

An attempt on writing "Salam" (Literally means Peace in Arabic) with the collaboration of various nationalities. This Project has some challenges as follows:
1. Each person has one chance to write the requested word on a white 10x10-sized paper.
2. Ink is given as the material of writing that has difficulties in terms of controlling it.
3. Given writing tools are not common. You can find the photos of tools in the "Behind the Scene" section.

The purpose of this project is to put people into challenges in order to focus on how to write and fit the word on the paper rather than how beautifully they can write. In other words, an attempt on creating a concept in which you are not aware of the tools and methods of the creation.

For those who are not familiar with the alphabet, a simple sample of the requested word is given.
